I purchased 800 series gas stove and 800 series above the stove microwave with vent. I planned on putting it at the height my old microwave was at 18 inch above the stove between and under cabinets will this work or what should zi do null

Hi Lance, thank you for your question. Per the Specifications Page for Model:HMV8053U, the 800 Series Over the Range Microwave, "For Optimal performance and reliability, the manufacturer recommends a clearance of 33" to 36", although the permissible clearance must be at least 30".
