Bose unfortunately doesn’t post power numbers in their products like other manufacturers do. But Looking at the input power rating at the bottom of the sub which is required by regulations , it’s rating is 120v at 55 watt draw, Assuming that the amplifier inside is at least 90 percent efficient, you’re looking at a continuous wattage of about 50 watts. That may not seem like much for a sub in this price range , but it’s Bose. They engineer their products to get more sound using less power, smaller drivers, and enclosures. For me This replaces a 300 watt 10” Klipsch sub which honestly I don’t miss. The klipsch produced a lot of bass but also a lot of vibration and distortion. The Bose sounds cleaner and can get very loud without unwanted rattle and vibrations at almost 1/8 of the power. Even at 50 watts , I’m more than happy with my bass module 500.
