They do not go in your ear like ear buds. They have speakers in each peace that goes over your ear. They are designed to project sound directly at your ear so only you can hear it but still hear around you. If you go load enough people can start to hear them but most of the time if it’s at a comfortable level most people can’t tell your listening to something.

Our Frames do not function as earbuds - they have two speaker drivers that are built-in to the Frames directly, and sit above the ears.

Not sure what you mean, they are open-air by design. They work for audio playback as well as taking calls if that helps...
