• Not really they mask the sounds but don’t really block them out.

• Got these while staying at an airbnb in Brooklyn. Cars would go by with boom boxes and pause for quite a while, during the night. Without these sleepbuds, I would not have gotten much sleep. With them, it was fine. When I bought mine, I knew I had a period to return them if not satisfied. But it turned out, I wouldn't dream of returning them
