I bought these specifically to block out the loud snores of my partner. They do a very good job! Sometimes I can hear his snoring whilst I'm wearing them , but it's not loud enough to disturb me. If you adjust the volume , or try different noises , this would help. There are lots to choose from. I , honestly , wouldn't be without them! I was VERY sceptical about buying then initially , and it took me a few nights to get used to them ( I thought about returning them after the first night !) , but I'm SO glad I persevered!

When he talks to me after I have these in already in my ears, I have to take them out to understand what he is saying. I could hear him in muffled sounds only.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They do not block out sound, Bose states that the white noise / background noise is supposed to take you mind off of other sounds. These earbuds are NOT not cancelling.
