The Bose speaker sounds great but the app does not recognized the speaker & I have never been able to connect to party mode. Which is very disappointing.

Yes you can connect two or more of these TOGETHER using the Bose App, GROUP feature. Two speakers connected together in Mono and they sound great! Will they connect to other speakers? No.
