- Answer It is not waterproof, but water resistant. I wouldn't feel comfortable placing it in an area with active splashing water but mist or steam should be fine. The main differences between this and the Revolve+ II is the added bass modules at the top of the speaker and Bose Music App support. The Revolve+ II has neither of these.

- Answer I have not found it to scratch, I like black as it stays looking clean longer. Really great sound, I bought another one for a Xmas gift, I am sure they will love it .
