• Yes, However not if the headphones are turned on before the cord is plugged in and receiving a signal. e.g. plug headphones in and play media, once listening to your chosen entertainment without any noise cancellation then continue to turn headphones on; voila, now you can enjoy ;)

• I have them plugged in and they don't work when they are turned on. That means noise cancelling is working, however the audio signal via wire is not played in the headphones. When I turn them off I can hear some low quality sound, however the active noise canceling is not working since they are turned off.

• As long as you have battery power, the active noise cancellation will work on these headphones regardless of, or even without, the audio source.

• Short Answer: Yes. Long Answer. The ANC noise cancelling will still function while wired to any 3.5mm aux jack. The headset comes with a airplane seat adapter as well in the box.

• I believe the noise cancellation will work as long as there is power provided to it by the batteries, so I believe you could listen via the sound jack and still use the noise cancellation. Haven't done this myself though.
