Noise cancellation works either way.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as you have battery power, you can use the active noise cancellation with or without any audio source.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well, the tech blog is incorrect. I can personally say that the acoustic noise cancelling works while either listening wired or wirelessly. Actually staying plugged in extends your battery life slightly. If the battery dies in the headset, then you will be restricted to listening with the audio cable. Also when it does die, the non Bose EQ audio and non ANC sounds rather mediocre, so just make sure you are charged for your trip.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is not true. If you have battery and turn on the headphones the noise cancellation works while connected via the plug. They might've not turned on the headphones. If they're plugged in they don't need to be on to listen to music
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had plug it with the audio cord to an iPad and the noice-cancelling works. I have not try in a airplane entertainment system
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. On the contrary, the noise cancelling stays on as long as the switch is on. The only time I've seen where noise cancelling hasn't worked was when the battery died.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say not true. I didn't try these on an airplane but I connected via Bluetooth to make sure ANC was working and then connected via wire and the active noise cancelling continued to function as expected.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes, you have to use the adapter they come with it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, that is true. If you want to use the noise cancelling functionality, you can not have them plugged into any auxiliary unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These are wireless. They don't have a plug to plug into a device. They connect via Bluetooth
