You will hear your lawn mower. They do not block all noise. Personally I wouldn't take $345 headphones and walk behind a dirty lawnmower with them. These are a luxury for me so they stay clean and sweat free. But the point is that you will hear some noise.

They work excellent. I used them with a loud mower and the noise was reduced considerably while listening to music at normal volume.

You will still hear the humming noise of the engine, but the noise level will be significantly diminished. Imagine standing next to a running lawn mower while you squeeze your hands against your ears. That's what it will more or less sound like when the headphones are on and playing some sort of music.

Far superior to the Beats Studio Wireless. I ride a diesel toro 52" and all you can barely hear is a whine faintly. The QC35 are far superior to any noise cancelling headphones I have ever used.

I use them when running outside, and the noise cancellation is great, can't hear anything really other than the music. I would assume with a lawnmower it will drown out most, if not all of the noise coming from the lawn mower.
