I have the s7. You can answer calls, mute, hang up, and even skip to the next song using the controls on the headset.

Yes re: Android, at least on my Moto X (2nd Gen). You can use the full range of wireless control to pick up/hang up calls, adjust volume, skip forward/backward on music tracks, etc. .

They work with android and iphone. I have used mine on both of my phones with no issues at all. The app is also available for both android and ios.
