• No, you can still use the Google Assistant with an iPhone. I still have yet to bother though. Seems more of a gimmick to me.

• From my understanding, you can use Siri with the iphone. The additional button on the II can bring up Google Assistant or you can change it to select the noise cancellation level. So, basically, you get a button to change the noise cancellation. That is the only difference since my understanding is the 1st gen model can now change the noise cancellation level in the ios app.

• They work fine with my iphone and I can adjust volume, pause, play, skip to the next song, go back to the previous, answer phone calls with them just fine.
