• Not really. Because it has an aux cable (specific size for it, not 3.5mm on both ends) you can listen while leaving the headphones powered off. This is done in case you were to run out of battery life (has never happened to me) but if you wanted to go about it that way you would be using them without the noise cancelling and without the Bluetooth option.
