• A little hydrogen peroxide on a Q-tip, but don't get liquid into the earbud. Be gentle, careful, and use the peroxide sparingly.

• Try cleaning your ears. But if you just can't, the mesh can be cleaned with a rubbing alcohol dipped qtip.
