Q: QuestionDoes the person on the other end experience a reduction in noise? For instance if on a conference call from home with the doorbell, dog barking and kids in the background are there active mics activating and cancelling sounds other than your voice?

• A:Answer I am not 100% sure but I do not believe you can purchase just one. They are sold as a pair and if you need service on any one of them Bose wil replace them both.

After a week of owning them the right 1 crapped out and is unresponsive to every trick I have tried. 200 dollars for a marketing wank... I feel... used more than these almost brand new headphones.

Q: QuestionUnfortunately they can't be worn with hearing aids. Thus the suggestion of giving them to Dad for Father's Day would be a poor choice - I have to mess with over the ear stuff. Being able to load hearing curves would be super!

• A:Answer Yes. There are different levels of the noise canceling feature. When I need to hear my surroundings, I don't have them on max. I use the maximum noise canceling at night because my husband snores and they COMPLETELY drown out the sound and I'm able to get a good night's rest.
