• The charging case is portable and has charging ability stored in it so that you can recharge your ear buds at least twice while away from a charging port, but you’ll have to plug the case into a charger once the battery drains.

• The 2nd generation Bose qc ultra's do have wireless charging case yes. I believe the 1st Gen did not.

• Hey Steven! Yes, the case can be charged using a compatible third-party wireless charger (not included). For optimal charging, position the button on the back of the case directly over the center of the charging pad. When aligned properly, the LED on the case will light up solid amber to show that charging has started.
