• A:Answer I just chatted with a Bose Expert regarding wired mode on the new QuietComfort and QuietComfort Ultra headphones. While they do come with an adapter to plug into an in-flight entertainment system, Bose confirmed that, in wired mode, ANC is disabled.

• A:Answer My personal opinion it’s more to connect with other Bose products if you’re using the app but as far as I know I used mine with out the app all the controls are on the side you swipe to lower it or raise the volume and the other buttons to select Bluetooth and change songs and answer the phone hopefully this helps

• A:Answer Yes there are cushion replacements but be warned ive tried replacing the cushions before and it basically broke the noise cancelling for some reason. You're better off just buying covers for the ear cushions.
