• Yes, but I think there are probably better solutions. The form factor of these and the features are really meant for sleeping so you pay a premium as there are not a lot of products on the market. Unless you are looking for a solution where nobody can see the devices on your head, I would opt for a set of Bose 700 Noise Cancelling over the ear headphones and simply stream whatever sounds or Indie music or whatever you use as background noise. Then you have a product you can use for multiple things.

• You can but you can't listen to regular music with them. There is an app with specific noise (noise masking, nature sounds, tranquility) that play through the sleepbuds but other than those you can't listen to anything else.
