• Yes & NO, mainly depends on personal preference. I think you'll be pleased with the sound quality of this device. Be sure to install the app to control tone, etc. Personally, if I want to watch a show/movie which emphasizes audio I'll switch the HDMI eARC cable from the soundbar to my 7.2 channel AVR X3400h for a greatly enhanced and room warming sound. I said greatly enhanced. Especially when a show or movie has dolby atmos such as Top Gun: Maverick,Obi-Wan Kenobi, etc. ... awesome audio experience
