“I have an older Bose 600 sound bar and a new bass module 500. I can’t connect the BM500 to the SB, it doesn’t show up in the app nor does it connect using a cable. What am I doing wrong or are they not compatible?”

as long as you insert 2.5V DC in the right channel wire (red wire, jack ring) the SB600 sees any analog subwoofer as a Bose model 700 hardwired ... nice trick uh?
