• I tried to connect it to my smart TV and was unable to do so. I read that Bose does this on purpose so that you have to buy their entertainment system, which is pretty pricey, sounds good, but not good enough for the price. I believe you are able to pair this speaker with other Bose speaker though.

• if I connect PlaySation 4 or 5 to the Bose Speaker 500 it will work or not?

• I have a Samsung 8K Smart TV and have paired the Bose Home Speaker 500 via bluetooth, so I guess it depends on the TV.
