“Can the soundbar operate the TV volume if my current TV's IR sensor is not working?”

• I turned the volume off and have just the sound bar, sound coming from these new tvs aren't really that good anyways. It is way enough sound in my opinion and it sounds incredible

• You should be able to go to your TV's sound system and change it to the Bose Soundbar remote.
