“Our television is mounted atop the fireplace mantle and is a bit high. When seated watching the tv, will the sound not "float over our heads"?”

• My BOSE soundbar is on top of a very tall credenza in a room with cathedral ceiling (10-12 ft). When sitting in a chair or laying in bed, the sound clarity is like I was sitting with my ear right next to the speaker. I don't think you will have any problems.

• My tv is on a wall mount into the brick over our fireplace. We placed the Bose on the mantle below the tv while i would think the sound would float over our head, it doesn't. In fact we are able to hear the sound very clearly and without distortion.

• Hello Mikey, The Solo 5 has a broad soundstage so the sound will be dispersed throughout the room. You want to have continuity between the video and the sound.
