“Does this sound bar have to be connected to the TV with a cable. I am looking for a soundbar that is completely Wi Fi if there is such a thing. I have no problem with a cord to the outlet, I just dont want a cord going up my wall tot the TV.”

Hi Soundbar, Thank you for your question. The Solo 5 connects to your TV using an Optical, Coaxial or Auxillary connection.

The best connection to use is the optical connection. If you can connect a speaker via Bluetooth, then you can use Bose Bluetooth capability.

Yes, this soundbar is connected to the TV with a cable. It does not connect by WiFi.

Unless your TV can connect to the speaker via bluetooth it will require a type of cord to connect.
