• The cord is for connection to the TV, as most TVs are not Bluetooth enabled. The Bluetooth feature allows you to stream music through the speakers using your phone or tablet.

• Your tv has to have blue toothe to connect to speaker. Does it?

• The Bluetooth is used to connect to an external device. Most TVs do not have a Bluetooth transmitter, and if you were to connect one the Bluetooth delay may be objectionable.
