I use mine for a center speaker in a 5.1 system. Use aux jack for hookup. You have to hookup the 2 plus wires together to get the left and right channels when connecting to the center channel. 2 plus wires together to the center out of your amp and one to the negative side. Works great and has a special voice mode if you have trouble hearing dialog over the background audio.

I put it in front of the the TV, running the power and input cords around and under the outer edge of the TV base and they aren't noticeable. As far as the output, having the soundbar in front of the TV works perfectly.
