• Hello there. Great question. Bose does not publish specifications such as output wattage for our products as we do not believe they help with understanding how loud a product is. The Solo 5 will put out plenty of volume with rich, deep bass and clear highs. We recommend trying it for yourself at home to see exactly how it will sound. The maximum power consumption of the system is 30 watts.

• A typical rule of thumb for receivers and powered speakers is to divide the input watts by two to arrive at the RMS output power, e.g., 30 watts divided by two gives 15 watts output power, which is sufficient for medium sized room.

• The Solo 5 is rated for 30 watts as stated on the information plate on the back next to the input area.

• if your looking for loud, look for something else.. was hoping to hear it over a treadmill and this product was very disappointing, somehow the store model was louder.. must have been boosted

• It's on the back of the speaker and only shows INPUT power (30 watts). Output power is about one-half of that.
