“TV has a digital Audio out, so does cable box. No extra HDMI port. So would this hook up with TV or cable box?”

Depending on how your system is set up you will want to use the output of the TV and put it into the input of the speaker system. Some TVs do require you to turn off the TV speakers in order to use an external speaker system. There are so many different ways but that’s the basic way to do it

Whilst there are many ways to set this up, the most simple method of setup for you would be to connect the Cable Box to your TV, then connect from the TV to the Solo 5 system. If the TV is connected to the Solo 5, then this will try to play all sound the TV receives through the Soundbar, including audio from another device such as your cable box. This way any sound going to your TV like the cable box, gameing system, and DVD player will play through the sound bar directly from the tv. If you have it hooked up to just the cable box than you'll only get sound from the cable on the sound bar.
