“I was actually looking to put the unit behind the tv. I have a gap between the tv and stand my question is will the unit be able to receive the transmission even if the remote isn't pointed directly at where the unit receives the transmission. Thank you”

• well you can try but as far as i know as long the sensor can catch it ...and work.

• Hello Mike, the remote is IR, meaning line of sight so placing the Soundbar behind the TV may impede the operation of the remote. It may also block the sound and might not deliver the experience you seek. Thank you for asking.
