• Although I have not tried this outside, depending on the volume you want this may not be adequate. If you use it outside I would suggest you use a cooler to act as a wall, indoor the Bose speakers benefit from bouncing sound off a wall.

• The Bose Soundlink 3 has great sound, but it may not be loud enough for the beach. If you want loud, then you should probably go with the Beats Pill XL.
