If it has Bluetooth capabilities it should but my ipod classic doesn't have Bluetooth. I have the iphone 6+ and the ipod touch and those both work because they do have the Bluetooth capabilities. Hope this helps.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Get a male to male cable, and yes you can plug it in.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, with a 3.5mm audio cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your classic ipod has bluetooth connectivity, then yes, it should connect. Just pair it like you would any other bluetooth device. It should recognize your device if the bluetooth function is on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only if it's Bluetooth enabled. I have an older classic with the click wheel and that doesn't work. You can, however, buy a cord that lets you plug directly into the unit (it has a headphone jack on each end).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your classic iPod does not have bluetooth, it should at least have a mini jack plug-in. The SoundLink speaker has a mini-audio plug-in connection in the back, so you should be fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For wireless connection the TREK is compatible with any Bluetooth enabled device. Most iPods are not, but you can connect via a standard mini male-2-male audio extension cable (same as your ear buds). As a bonus, there is a USB connector, which will enable you to change your iPod, smartphone, etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I just had to use an AUX cord to use my classic with it.
