This can be charged over USB. So if you can provide a 5V output that can supply 2A, then I guess you can charge it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn't suggest wiring this directly to the power in your car. You could install a low wattage inverter and plug in the bose speaker whenever it needs to charge. Maintaining your cars electrical integrity and not voiding the Bose warranty.

I don't think that it will hurt anything, but it might take longer to charge. I usually get 6 or more hours from 1 charge. Just charge it at the house?
