You don't. You connect a device enabled with Bluetooth to it and play the music off of the device.

There's no memory in the speaker, so you need to link it to another device that has your music. You can link wirelessly using Bluetooth or with a connecting cord. Most people probably connect to a phone or computer that contains or streams their music, game audio, or movie/tv audio.
