A:AnswerIf by Alexa you mean an Echo, yes. In order for the speaker to be used outdoors while the Echo is indoors you'll need to ensure the Echo is placed near a window on the same side of the building as the Bose ColorLink II. The Bluetooth signal will not transmit well through walls, especially outside walls as they're normally thicker and insulated.
A:AnswerYou can do this via the Bose Connect app.
- Open the app and wait while it searches for available Bose Bluetooth® products
- Tap the Settings icon to view your product settings
- Settings
- Tap Voice Prompt Language
- Select a language.
A:AnswerThe Bose Connect app is useless for any attempt at party mode and has poor reviews. Reviewers state once they try to get party moden neither of the 2 soundlink speakers work anymire. Attemot at you iwn risk. Waste of money.
A:AnswerNo, the SoundLink Color II does not support Wi-Fi connections. You may find the Portable Home Speaker more suited to your needs, as this does feature AirPlay 2 support. You can still enjoy music from your Apple Mac to the speaker by using either a Bluetooth or auxiliary connection to the speaker.
A:AnswerIf you want to have a stereo experience, and I'm sure you do, I would avoid this product like the plague. The BOSE product people decided that these speakers would only be stereo when driven from their phone app, which is not your use case. See my review when BB posts it here for more details of the horrendous BOSE experience.
