Its not so much that it is bad because these newer batteries don't have a memory like the old nickle metal hydride batteries used to have. Almost all rechargeable batteries today are a lithium polymer product. These new technology batteries have a shutoff built in to not allow the cells to be overcharge and overheat. Your wireless device will give you sone indication the battery is getting low so you know it is time to recharge your device. Usually it blinks or changes colors. Typically it is less than 10 minutes remaining befkre the battery is dead notification. Ir is a good practice to try and use the battery so you don't run the chance of possibly overheating the battery being plugged in all the time though just to be safe.
