How well do they work on international flights? I realize these are not the noise cancelling model, but how well do they filter out the noise on the large planes that fly internationally? I read several comments that the connector on the noise cancelling Bose does not fit the connection to the audio system of the large airplanes. Does the cord which comes with these headphones connect on those planes?

They work well on international flights and connect just fine. I could not hear any background noise on the plane and it improved the quality of the sound on the airplane. The cord worked great. Hope that helps.

I have not used it in airplane yet but I barely hear any outside sond (not even my home dishwasher or living room tv sound).
The cable is normal auxiliary cable and can be connected to any aux point.

It really depends on the year and manufacturer of the equipment you are flying. This comes with a traditional single port audio cord, the other set I have includes an adaptor for the two-port audio connection and it can still be used on this pair. Of course, the point of these is they are wireless and you connect to your phone or computer. Either way the quality is just as great for the sound, while not noise cancelling, you cannot here airplane buzz when listening to sound through these.
