“Is there a way to charge my Samsung Note from the SoundLink Speaker device? I'd like to be able to plug in my Samsung phone and charge it while playing the SoundLink Speaker. I realize it is bluetooth technology to play sound, but is there a way to charge my Samsung phone from the SoundLink device while using it?”

• Not possible. Even though the Mini has a battery inside it, there is no way to connect it to an external device and have powered using the Mini's battery. There are BT portable speakers out there can can power your Note, but the Bose Mini can't do it.

• Unfortunately this is not possible. The SoundLink Mini’s micro USB port is only functional for software updates. It cannot provide power with which to charge other devices. Thanks!
