• It can't charge Iphone....the usb port at the rear is for firmware update, one for charging and the other for audio out.

• We're glad you checked, there must be a misunderstanding, the SoundLink Portable Bluetooth Speaker III can charge while streaming however it is unable to charge any external devices.
