- Answer We barely put it up to half volume on it and the bass was enough to get our downstairs neighbor to complain. We've never had a sound complaint in the past 3 years we've lived here

QuestionPurchased 2 of these to use in shower & steam bath. Water resistant Bose says. Will they hold up in a shower? they will not be in direct contact with water. Off to the side on a shelf. Or, should I buy Ultimate Ears Boom 3 portable waterproof spar

- Answer This Bose speaker has an IP55 rating meaning it is ok against solid intrusion - splashes of water, sweat, dusty conditions are fine. It should not be submerged. I would expect steam to slowly degrade the speakers performance.

- Answer You can pair our Smart Soundbars 300, 500, 600, 700, & 900 via Bose SimpleSync with a single SoundLink Revolve II speaker. Please note that we don't recommend that you use the speaker when watching TV with the Soundbar, as there may be a delay between the Soundbar and the SoundLink speaker.

QuestionRecently puchased a BOSE Soundlink Revolve II and have discovered a threaded hole on the bottom with a cluster of four gold contacts. There is no information about these contacts or the threaded hole. Your thoughts would be welcome. Best Wishes, Bruce

- Answer I'd like to know how this works. I plugged mine in as instructed and nothing happened. I did not turn on my Bluetooth because I don't want to run wireless signals sitting next to the Revolve at my desk. Can I use the Revolve as a wired speaker to my iMac? I didn't see how to connect without using the wifi. What is the point of the audio port if it requires Bluetooth? Am I not setting up my sound correctly on the iMac? Can the signals from the speaker be entirely shut down when hardwired (if that is possible) to the iMac? The image is with the Revolve turned OFF. It still emits!
