- Answer The speaker connects to a charger that converts the main voltage down to the required voltage. Do not focus on the input voltage of the charger, focus on the output voltage of the charger and use one that is 5 vDC, 1.5A or higher.

- Answer i'd suspect it can handle being outside. but like anything, if you leave this exposed to direct sun, you're likely going to see some damage from UV. Personally, I would not recommend leaving this outside other than under shade, but if that's what you're looking to do, it should be fine.
