Why wouldn’t it work on an iPad? I have not tried it but I connect to it from my imac. Friends of mine have connected to it from their android phones. As long as the device has Bluetooth you can connect. This is one amazing speaker and worth every penny,. Mind blowing sound from a RUGGED device .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Bose Soundlink will connecting to any device with Bluetooth, consider it a speaker. The real question is does your iPad have a music player app or program downloaded and if so do you have access to music files either on the iPad itself or through the cloud or through another source, i.e, jump drive. The Soundlink speaker is discover-able once you turn it on and hit the Bluetooth button. I don't know much about i Pads, however I assume you would have a Bluetooth button on that as well to make it discover-able. Once they connect you will be able to hear the luscious sound of a Bose speaker.
