I own the Revolve+ and owned the Revolve for a short time and can tell you that purely based on the difference between the two you will have an "unbalanced" sound experience for sure. I'm not saying it will be too annoying, but the + for sure has better bass and it is also quite a bit louder. Now you can adjust the volume independently from the speaker, so you could turn the + down to have the audio volume match and that might be good for you. The bass also might not be that bad in your situation because bass is mono, from my understanding in the '80s :-) so it should't be too noticeable...If you are doing it to save money you will have a 15 day return policy so try it out and see what you think...
