Hello RJ. Great question. The Bose SoundLink OE headphones will connect with any Bluetooth audio device so as long as the car's system has the ability to broadcast audio via Bluetooth, he should be able to listen to music that way. However, doing so will most likely mute the audio from the speakers once the headphones are connected by Bluetooth. Thanks!
