• Please check setting of bose device on the PC. Try to check services. There are two options. Second one works for telephony. First one is only for music.

• Buy a Bluetooth 4.0 dongle, set it up, then change the setting to use this dongle. I did it and it work great.

• I doubt the device on which you are making the Skype call. Can you try connecting to Skype using other device. Mine has no problem in using Skype on my iPad.. Factory resetting your device could help you..
