• Hi, Thanks for the great question. The SoundSport Free headphones pair to a device via Bluetooth. You can download the Bose connect app to adjust settings, and use the "Find My Bud" feature but it's not required to use the headset. As far as running specific apps, it would depend if the app is capable of being used via Bluetooth. If you have further questions, feel free to reach out to customer service.
