• You can use the right earbud alone. The left earbud cannot be used by itself.

• You can use one ear bud however you have to have both of them with you

• if you are asking about the wire free ear buds, No worries, only the right side will work most of the time anyways (these are garbage) but its mono since only one is working, not stereo so might as well not spend the premium price to get mono ~ just say'n
