The right earbuds may work, the left cuts out if I cup my hand over it (like while repositioning the bud in my ear) so I do not believe it would work Out of curiosity I just tried with my over ear Bose headphones and the left did cut out but the right worked, they were not noise cancelling but I believe the signal interruption will occur with any blocking or covering of the left earbuds. I believe it has to do with the sound synchronization between earbuds.
