Unfortunately, they are not compatible with an ipod shuffle. It is only compatible with devices that are capable of bluetooth audio technology and the shuffle, if my memory serves me correct, has a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Bose has other products with headphones jacks that you can possible attach them to so feel free to check them out. I hope this answers your question.

To provide some clarification, the SoundSport wireless headphones are engineered to connect to devices using a Bluetooth connection. The iPod Shuffle does not include this feature. For your iPod, we would recommend the SoundSport In-Ear headphones for Apple. These are great sounding, sweat resistant headphones that connect to your iPod's headphone jack. Please see the SoundSport In-Ear headphones here: https://bit.ly/2AYLM8W. We hope this helps! Have a great day. Jesse - Bose Support
