yes, and it covers manufacturer defects.

These warranties are limited in that they will only cover manufacturer defects, and nothing else (i.e. speaker stops working for no reason, mic stops working for no reason etc.) ANY accidental damage is completely on you, unless you buy a Geek Squad protection plan that has accidental damage protection.
