You can hear road noise at lower volume which I prefer for safety when running on the road.

Please try again later.they work well for the noise reduction but if you want full sound proof you should go with the newer version of these they work a lot better but have a small stick that is attached to the cord that make them inconvenient. I used these ones well sanding wood and didn't hear anything but music

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.they dont have an active noise cancellation but when they are turned up at least half way and im wking on the street i cant hear cars or people, when they are all the way up I can hear the person next to me talking. hope this helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you hear road noise and just about anything else that makes noise unless you turn the sound up all the way. Personally I love this for running. I wouldn't want to not be able to hear cars for safety reasons.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It has GREAT noise cancellation. I find that while you can't hear voices well, you can hear slightly hear road and atmospheric sounds. This is actually a plus if you running or walking outside. I still need to know what's going on around me, but still be able to enjoy my music.
